Installation and replacement of water heaters in Onda

Without hot water there is no home. I install electric water heaters and replace old boilers, handling the water side and the electrical side in the same visit.

What it includes

Safe hot water, and a proper electrical connection

An electric water heater is both a plumbing appliance and an electrical one: it has to be fixed firmly to the wall, connected to the hot and cold water with new hoses and valves, fitted with its safety valve and drain, and fed from a suitable outlet or circuit. Because I am a plumber and an electrician, I do both parts without you having to coordinate two tradesmen.

I replace heaters that no longer heat, that drip from the valve or whose element has scaled up — very common with Onda water — and I also install new heaters in homes that had none or that want to change system. I help you choose the capacity according to the number of people and the space available, and advise on the best place for it.

Before leaving, I fill the appliance, bleed the air, check the safety valve, verify the electrical connection and switch it on. I explain how to set the temperature and how often to check the element and the anode to extend its life.

FAQ

Questions about water heaters

My water heater drips from underneath, is it broken?

Not always. If the drip comes from the safety valve while heating, a small amount is normal; if it is continuous, the valve is worn or the mains pressure is high and a reducer is needed. If the water comes from the tank itself, then it is worth replacing.

What capacity of water heater do I need?

As a guide, 50 to 80 litres for one or two people and 100 litres and up from three, depending on showers and routines. We look at it together during the visit: the space available and actual use matter as much as the number of people.

Do you take away the old heater or boiler?

Yes, I dismantle it, drain it and take it away for recycling, so you are not left with a heavy appliance in the middle of the bathroom or kitchen.

A leak, a faulty socket or a small renovation waiting to happen?

Tell me what is going on and I will tell you how I fix it. The quote comes with no obligation, and in Onda and nearby I get there fast.
